Panama Engineering are designed to separate solid and liquid in relatively short span of time by using the principle of pressure feeding. For over 50 years now, filter press has been effectively used in every industrial filtration application. Arranged in a series of filter plates & frames and recessed plates, there is a filter medium between these plates. Then, through the feeding pump, we force the liquid inside the filter press and the solid is trapped inside the medium between the plates. The solution coming through the filter press, called the filtrate, will be very pure. The solid held per square feet by the filter press is more than any other filter press. Manual or hydraulic operated closer is required.

Automatic Filter Press
Made by mold pressing of strengthened polypropylene, Filter plates are light weight, abrasion resistant, high in strength, non toxic and odorless. In conventional filter presses the entire filtration operation is mainly manual but in auto filter press, the filtration is hydraulic system controlled or computer controlled i.e. completely automatic.

Manual Filter Press
We manufacture manually operated filter press with Ratchet Closing Device. The system consists of Ratchet Mechanism, Pinion and Gear Wheel. By applying a Ratchet lever to the pinion shaft the force is transmitted by small pinion to the larger gear-wheel which provides the final lightning on the plate pack.
